Reviews and Ratings
The hotel's location was perfect, right next to the finish line and convenient for shopping, dining, beach walking, and club gatherings. The rooms were small and a bit claustrophobic due to their size, but what made the hotel ideal was its central location. The dining experience left a lot to be desired with limited options available but the hotel offered tours/ticket assistance which was a plus.
The hotel had both positives and negatives. The rooms were quite basic with no closet, dresser drawers, or ironing board, and the cleanliness left much to be desired. Climbing 4 flights of stairs to reach our room was a downside. On the bright side, the location was convenient for exploring the village, and being within walking distance to see the sea lions was a unique experience. While the rooms may have been lacking, the service stood out with wonderful staff making up for any room-related flaws. Dining options were limited and disappointing, but the overall value for money was acceptable.
The hotel's location definitely makes up for some areas that need improvement. Close to the beach but lacking in certain services. Clean rooms but lacking in room amenities. Staff could be more attentive and informative. Overall, good on the price.
My stay was a bit of a mixed bag. The hotel was in a convenient location close to the town and beach, but there were a few issues with the room. The service was lacking at times, and the dining experience left much to be desired. However, the beautiful ocean view from the balcony was a highlight.
The La Jolla Inn is a great choice due to its rooms despite some shortcomings. The service was satisfactory, and the location was amazing albeit with additional costs. The dining options were lacking but the staff provided essential amenities.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were clean and very nice, offering a view of the ocean, but they weren't super soundproof. The staff was very friendly and helpful, but there were some instances of issues being shrugged off. The location was convenient, right in La Jolla Village, close to various attractions, but parking was pricey if located a bit farther away. The dining experience had its flaws, especially with limited options, but the overall stay was pleasant.
